IAPMO launches California Codes Portal

The International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) announced the introduction of the IAPMO California Codes Portal, an interactive and annotatable code access system that simplifies the work of those utilizing the 2007 California Plumbing and Mechanical Codes.

Using the IAPMO California Codes Portal, code enforcers, design professionals and contractors can obtain the codes, standards and regulations necessary to competently use, apply and/or enforce the California Code of Regulations, Title 24, also referred to as the California Building Standards Code.

IAPMO, working with Citation Technologies Inc. (www.citation.com), has taken the California Plumbing Code (CPC) and California Mechanical Code (CMC), based on the corresponding Uniform Codes, and essentially uploaded them to the Internet along with a host of tools to enhance and expand the user’s capabilities.
